Recently we have seen a large number of Meetup announcements from Jigsaw Renaissance. Clearly that group has a huge crossover of interest with our group, and at first it seemed that we would want to see everything that's going on over there. However, an insightful question was raised in our recent organizer meeting... is it appropriate for another organization to use our meetup announcement channel? What do the Makers think? What do you want to see?

Dustin has brought up a point that I have been thinking about anyway. This is something they've been doing down at OlyMEGA for the last 2 or 3 months, and it seems to be working quite well. I have thought about having a similar thing here. The workshops we had last week were along those lines, and I can see the potential popularity and it being a very beneficial ongoing meeting. This would be in addition to the 2nd Sat full group meetup. But for this one we would be much less formal and work on personal projects and chat and help each other out.

I've been approached by a recruiter that asked (thank you for that) if they could start posting jobs to our meetup. I'd like to see what our members think and if this is something you would like.
